i thought the book 'tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow' was a women-in-stem wlw story but after reading the first page i realized on of the mcs is he/him and i was like what gives. but i had no reason to think it was gay cause the little blurb or whatever on the inside jacket refers to sam as him... i guess sam is just a girls name to me ! everyone says it's good so i will still read it

my screen time has gone down and i'm definitely bombarding my brain with less nonsense now so that's good. i have to practice bass more and more since the show date barrels towards me. talked to luis about my reservations but i know it'll be fine. looking into getting a few pedals. a tuner, chorus, fuzz. only one i've actully decided on is a big muff for fuzz but i also bought a diy fuzz pedal kit that i started and never finished last may(?) at sadies apartment when circuit bending a toy cat keyboard with them and cisco and dani. i could try to finish that, and still should, but buying the big muff off marketplace or something would save time. maybe ui'll get an am*zon basics tuner cause i dont actually care too much about brand on that. sure the adage 'spend less spend twice' or whatever may prove itself true but if i only ever play one or a handful of shows then i'm sure the pedal will last long enough. gotta research the chorus one more but there's some from tc electronic that i might take the chance on. i dont want to ask to borrow from friends cause it seems like an annoyance (like just invest in your own) but sade does have a cool one that i might want to mess around with. practice tomorrow. need to get a carrying case

my kawasaki is giving me the same issues as it did a month or so ago when it first broke down. problem now is i've done all i can think of to remedy it and we're back at the same problem. not sure what the best path forward is. maybe just title it and give up. title and then slowly put time/money into fixing it? i think i'll get another 125cc for the time being. wanted something bigger but insurance quotes are crazy for me, which i attribute to my totalled payout from the hit-n-run. they're quoting me basically the full price of the bike i want... was the victim then, i'm still the victim now :( so a smaller one makes more sense. we'll be so back soon. i just miss being on two wheels and mostly self-sufficient. biking has been fun though. cold front coming in so it's a little more enjoyable. less sweaty. a nicer discomfort
