hokkaido sushi spot pretty good cant believe i was only ever really going to the revolving one in midtown. jordan and cisco took me on tuesday, though we went over an hour later than planned. very hungry. seemed cheaper than other spots and free miso soup can just go and get one hand roll and get full on soup while reading or something. so out of the way though. still need to try sushi miyagi
sold a camera on marketplace. listed it yesterday and by 9:45 p.m. i was meeting the guy at agora to hand it off. older asian guy. explained my experience with it and why his friends probably told him to go fo an om1 if it ever popped up. only issue with it is slight haze in the viewfinder but it's an issue that doesn't need to be fixed. doesn't hurt the image quality just makes composing images a bit softer. like you're not seeing as bright of an image but perfectly usable. he didnt try to haggle me when i forgot the manual. overall good experience. don't have many others to list rn but if i test shoot the second om-10 i have then can list that too for a little less
stopped by basket to get a book that an online friend recommended. she gave it 10/10 and i saw they carried it there so figured why not. i walked over to where i thought it would be, noticed that the "jack's picks" shelf was gone so i'm guessing he quit or gave up the spot. (i should inquire...) come to think of it i dont remember if i saw josh's but wasn't looking for him so don't remember. but above where he would be was laura, the co-owner and person working at that moment. and on her picks was the book i came to look for. didnt remember the tiotle off the top but when i saw it propped up i knew it was it. mentioned that i thought it was funny that what i came to look for her was her staff pick because of both the serendipity and the book itself is fiction but the story is one that feels so odd, i would never have considered it prior to kelse's rec, so her having read it and decided it was good for her shelf was lucky. she remembered my name though i haven't bought anything there in months. told her i'd have my thought on it next time i come in
had to reactivate twitter to make sure i gave my friend An my number. he's visiting later this month from philly and want to make sure we can link while he's here with his dad. very exciting cause i haven't had anyone from college visit since 2021. wait. not true. Art did visit recently. like januarry maybe. took her to jordan's show at some house. yea, but that was fun. even though we didn't hang again the rest of her time here. i did have an's number from when i visitied pa in 2021 and we all went to ayce sushi after homecoming. i was very drunk... so i am free to deactivate again now
